35-yr-old son of AAP leader Kanwar Sandhu dies of heart failure | SNE

Karan Sandhu, son of senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and veteran journalist Kanwar Sandhu, died of heart failure at the PGI here on Wednesday.

Family sources said 35-year-old Karan was rushed to the emergency ward of the institute early in the morning, where he passed away at five.

The cremation will take place at the Sector 25 cremation ground at 4 pm on Wednesday.
Karan did his schooling from St Stephen School, Chandigarh, before doing MBBS from Sri Guru Ram Das Medical College, Amritsar.

His wife, who is from Canada, was also in India these days in view of the recently held Punjab Assembly polls, which Kanwar Sandhu contested from Kharar constituency. Sandhu also headed the manifesto drafting committee of the AAP Punjab.

Meanwhile, Punjab Congress president Capt Amarinder Singh condoled the death.
In his condolence message, Amarinder expressed grief over the untimely death and conveyed sympathies to the bereaved family.
