Hyderabad: Recitations of Gurbani Keertans, delivering of Gurbani Kathas and a Guru ka Langar (community kitchen) marked the 351st Prakash Utsav of Sri Guru Gobind Singh, the last Sikh guru, on Sunday.
The celebrations organised under the aegis of Prabhandak Committee, Gurudwara Saheb Secunderabad concluded with thousands of Sikh devotees and other community faiths attending it and offering prayers to Guru Granth Sahib.
“The major attraction of the concluding event was Vishal Deewan at Keys High School Ground where over 10,000 to 15,000 devotees participated,” said Baldev Singh Bagga, president of Prabhandak Committee.
He also said hymns delivered by Ragi Jathas and Gurbani Vichar were the highlights at the Vishal Deewan, and after the culmination of the congregation, the free community kitchen served the devotees.
There is no use finding fault with the EVMs now when the party leadership committed a historic blunder with regard to the overall strategy in the elections. First, it should look within to find out reasons that stopped AAP’s march to power,” Chandigarh-based The Tribune quoted Mann as saying.
