Kesari: Akshay Kumar celebrates the valour of Sikhs and marks Saragarhi Day with new posters || SNE

Kesari: After announcing the film on Baisakhi, Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar shared the posters of film today. Just looking at the posters we can say that it will add yet another feather in Akshay Kumar’s hat.


After ruling the box office with his recent release Gold with Mouni Roy, Akshay Kumar is all set to display the valor of Sikhs who bravely fought the battle of Circa, in 1897. The posters which were shared by Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Parineeti Chopra, and other celebrities gained a lot of momentum on the social media minutes after they were put out on the internet. The posters shared by the superstar marks the Saragarhi Day, the day celebrated in the memory of 21 Sikhs who bravely fought 10,000 Afgan army.


Kesari, which is all set to release on 21st March 2019, will see Akshay Kumar playing the pivotal as well as an intense role. The actor shared the poster along with the caption ‘On #SaragarhiDay, here’s the first look of #KESARI – our humble tribute to the martyrs of Saragarhi! Aaj Meri Pagdi Bhi Kesari…Jo Bahega Mera Woh Lahu Bhi Kesari… Aur Mera Jawaab Bhi Kesari.’


Karan Johar, who is producing the film with Twinkle Khanna too took it to his social media handle and shared another poster.


Akshay Kumar announced his film on his Instagram account on the occasion of Baisakhi. The actor donned the Sikh attire and posed with the backdrop of the sun.


Just looking at the posters, one can say that the film will surely turn out to be a promising one and will add yet another feather in Akshay Kumar’s hat.
