Punjab Health and Family Welfare Minister Brahm Mohindra on Sunday said Punjab government’s new industrial and business development policy-2017 will play as catalyst for initiating new era of development in the state.
Mr Mohindra, who was the chief guest of Punjab Day celebration Function during on-going India International world Trade Fair 2017 in New Delhi, said that the new Industrial and Business Policy will provide a great platform for the new startup in Punjab and the provisions made in this new policy for industrial development in the state, has been appreciated by the business visitors and trade houses of the country.
“The new policy will provide special single window facility for existing industries/MSMEs to be setup at the district level, dedicated Rs 100 crore funds for startup, quality power at affordable fixed tariff of Rs 5 per unit. Another attractive feature of this new policy is setting up of MSME Facilitation Councils at Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, SAS Nagar and Patiala,” he added.
