Faridkot, November 6
On the complaint of Faridkot MP Prof Sadhu Singh, the police on Monday registered a criminal case against his personal assistant, Gursewak Singh.
In his complaint to the police, the MP alleged that his PA Gursewak Singh cheated him of Rs 33,13,267 by misusing his ATM card between the period August 2014 and March 2017.
Sadhu alleged that Gursewak was his personal assistant for about three years and during this period he had handed over his Parliament Bank Account’s ATM card to Gursewak for withdrawing money with his permission.
“Now as I checked the balance in my account, I was shocked to find that my PA had withdrawn the money without my permission,” Sadhu alleged.

The MP alleged that using his position, Gursewak undertook many foreign tours in these three years. “I suspect he used my bank account to fund his foreign tours,” he alleged.
