Scholar’s picture installed at Sikh Museum | SNE

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) today installed a picture of Sikh scholar Pyara Singh Padam at the historical Sikh Museum keeping in view his contributions towards the humanity.

The SGPC president, Kirpal Singh Bandugar, and the Akal Takht jathedar, Gurbahcan Singh, were present on the occasion.
Bandugar said, “Padam has written our 100 books. He has been a recipient of many awards.” A seminar on the life and work of the writer would be organised soon, he added. He said, “We also plan to open a library on his name.”
