Woman Killed in Fresno Crash Was A Well-Known TV, Radio Host In The Sikh Community || SNE

FRESNO, California (KGPE) – A woman was killed in a Fresno crash Sunday afternoon after her car was thrown several feet into the air, according to police.

 

It happened in the area of Ashlan and Cornelia avenues around 2 p.m. Police say she was driving southbound on Cornelia Avenue when for unknown reasons, she crossed over into oncoming traffic.

 

 

Her car hit guy wires, used as tension ropes to hold free-standing structures, and was thrown 10 feet into the air, then police say she came crashing down.

 

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

Family and friends at the scene of the crash say Guddi Sidhu is the victim of the crash. They say she is the vice president of Sikh Institute Fresno.

 

She was a well-known television and radio host in Sikh community. Family says her work aired in India.

 

Loved ones say she had just come from a function at a school and was on her way to do her radio show when she crashed.
